AROMA de la Mer want to introduce you in the art of Balinese cooking and invites you to discover the land of spicy Balinese food with unexplored spicies, ingredients, Balinese food preparation and cooking techniques.

Aroma de la Mer is situated in the north-east of Bali in an old
fishing village called Amed. Therefor all the seafood is fresh from the local fishermen and you can taste delicious fresh seafood, culinary highlights of the Balinese cusine and you will get new insights. No fish will make it into Aroma de la Mer that has no crystal clear eyes and carries the freshness of the wide Bali Sea because Made Putu, Iluh and Komang are the daughters of local fisherman from Jemeluk.

Made Putu, Iluh and our georgeous cook Sincan have many years experience preparing Balinese and Western food in different restaurants in Bali. They love cooking and have a real passion for it. They want to share the mystery of Balinese cooking with there guests and teach you the art of Balinese cooking. They want to invite you to taste the real flavor of Bali in there cooking classes!

Aroma de la Mer starts each cooking class with the early morning market tour to teach and show you which fresh ingredients you can buy. You can see and get in touch with the real Bali bargain for the right prices on the colorful Balinese markets with exotic fruits, herbals, vegetables, flowers and all the rich flavor and smells of Balinese market life.

Prices for 2 dishes you will learn and eat:
Vegetarian 250.000 IDR around 18,- Euro (1 Euro is 14.000 IDR)
Tumeric with Kambucha, Coconut, Ginger
Meat Food 350.000 IDR around 25,- Euro
Sea Food 400.000 IDR around 28,- Euro
Moringa Aroma
including one free Cocktail and free drinking water, tea and coffee while cooking.

For example: For the Jukut Urab you will need the following ingrediens:
Jukut Urab: onion, garlik, tumerik, gingger, laos, chili, coconut and vegetables
We offer some delicious detox juices in our restaurant like Moringa Juice, Kambucha, Tumeric, Coconut, Cucumber Mojito... come and have a sip...
